we find ourselves (spiritually) through our interaction with others This song is called Finding id , that is, finding ourselves. We can do this by seeing ourselves in others and observing our own responses to them. They are a reflection of us and our response to them is an indication of where we are in that journey of finding our “id”. The lyrics of the song focus on the typical homeless person that we meet and judge. We look at "them" as being the "lost" ones , but it is our response to them which shows us who is lost.
